This class is inspired by, recognises and celebrates the people around the world who continue the tradition of baking flatbreads to feed their families and communities.

Would you like to learn more about the global traditions of baking sourdough flatbreads?
- Do you enjoy eating naan with your curry, pitta with your falafel and would you like to give the totally unique Palestinian flatbread Taboon* a go?
- Would you like to diversify your baking experience and learn how to bake flatbreads with a home oven, hob and fire?
Then this class is for you!
This hands-on class is suitable for people who have completed our Starting Sourdough Class, as well as for those who have some experience baking sourdough breads.
*€5 from every class place will be donated to the Union of Agricultural Work Committees in Palestine.

You will learn:

how to make a traditional soft sourdough pitta from Greece in a regular home oven. Pittas are great for lunches and work well as an accompaniment to hummus and dips
- how to make a delicious soft sourdough naan from India with different toppings on a hob. Great with your curry!
- how to make the unique sourdough Taboon flatbread from Palestine with fire.
- how to best maintain a vibrant sourdough starter

- All the delicious sourdough flatbreads you have baked at the class for you to take home so that you can taste, showcase and share your learning experience with others.
