What’s Happening?

Kicking off at lunchtime we’ll have a couple of hours to come together and break bread – let’s aim to have the mostest number of different real bread loaves in one place in Ireland :-)

We will gather in “the field” (weather permitting) and we will also have the use of the farm hub space (located in the Enterprise Building) to sit, eat and chat.

There’ll also be an opportunity to visit Riot Rye Bakehouse & Bread School and Julie from Riot Rye will give a tour of the ecovillage.

Kicking off at 18.30 we’ll have Eats & Beats – an evening meal using the vegetables from the farm followed by music and dancing until midnight. Probably an open fire to sit around after that :-)

Where?

Click on this link to the ecovillage website and scroll to the bottom of the page for google map https://www.thevillage.ie/ (eircode E53 VP86).

Staying over?

There are a couple of options. Camping space is available (a contribution of €10) – it’s rough and ready but you will have the use of toilets.

There are beds available in the hostel which we have reserved for RBI for Saturday night in full – details below.

Otherwise if you have space in the back of a car or van you can sleep in that in the carpark next to the Farm Hub and you’ll have access to a toilet.

Pricing

Julie and Joe at Riot Rye have taken the task of organising the costs and ticketing for this including mandatory insurance to cover us all for the day and evening.

For the day and Eats & Beats it’s €45 and camping is an additional €10. There is a max of 60 tickets as that is the capacity of the Eats & Beats building space.

Hostel

As bed space is precious for this Saturday night, we would ask that you work with others attending to fully utilise any room you book. The details are as follows:
